When your student visa application is approved, a letter requesting your passport is issued to affix a Temporary Resident Visa. This step is applicable to students from countries requiring a Temporary Resident Visa to enter Canada. Click here to view sample

๐ Study Permit:
Your official immigration status in Canada as a student, given to you when you enter Canadaโeither at the airport or land border. Click here to view sample
When applying for your Study Permit, please ensure that you use your Humber Polytechnic Letter of Acceptance (LOA) as the primary supporting document. When completing your application, you must list Humber Polytechnic as your Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
Note: Students will only be registered in classes if they received student visa approval and provide a Letter of Introduction or Study Permit
โStudy Permit Refusal Letter:
If your study permit application has been refused Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will in most cases provide you with a letter outlining the reasons for the refusal.
